At Partyzoos, the outstanding quality of our foil balloons is a direct result of using superior materials and adhering to a rigorous manufacturing process. Our foil balloons are primarily constructed from Mylar, a specialized, thin, non-stretchable film of metallized nylon. This material is chosen for its excellent gas barrier properties, which allow the balloons to hold helium for extended periods, and its ability to take on vibrant, reflective colors. The metallic coating gives our foil balloons their signature shine and helps prevent gas from escaping. The manufacturing process involves several key steps: Material Preparation: Rolls of Mylar film are prepared, often with pre-applied color or metallic coatings. Printing: Custom designs, patterns, and characters are precisely printed onto the Mylar using advanced printing techniques. Die-Cutting & Shaping: The printed Mylar is then precisely cut into the desired balloon shapes (e.g., letters, numbers, stars, characters) using specialized dies. Heat-Sealing: Two layers of the cut Mylar are carefully heat-sealed together around the edges, forming the balloon's structure. This crucial step ensures a strong, airtight seam. Valve Insertion: A self-sealing inflation valve is integrated into the balloon, allowing for easy inflation and preventing gas leakage. Quality Inspection: Each foil balloon undergoes thorough quality checks for print accuracy, seal integrity, and overall finish.
